Meet Bagel

He was born with severe Luxating Patella's that are twisting his back  legs. Bagel is about 14 weeks old so with the correct help now he stands a very good chance of maturing normally.... We had to bring him from California to Indiana to the veterinarian that took care of Teagan to help him.  This little guy has had a very ruff start in life...but he is a fighter and so wants to run and play like the rest of the kids......and we are so confident that the miracles that were worked for Teagan will also work for this little guy.....But he needs your help.......He is going to the same foster Mom who has Teagan, and we all know how wonderful Teagan has done with her help and love.... and Teagan will be just the one to encourage this little guy to walk......Wouldn't it be great to watch these two run and play together??????

Again we are asking for your help.....These little ones do not get fixed without your generous support...Please can you find in it your heart to help this little guy live the life he was born to live.....

UPDATE    5-26-09

Bagel is having his surgery tomorrow I will post updates as soon as I hear from his foster mom....

UPDATE 5-28-09

Bagel came thru his surgery with flying colors.....they were able to repair both rear legs...he is still at the hospital because they are giving him pain meds via IV..but very little  they just want to watch him for 24 hrs since his foster Mom lives a good 2 hrs away from the hospital...

Bagel update

Bagel had his surgery May 27th, and came home May 29th.  The surgery on both legs went very well.  Bagel is under going intense physical therapy several times a day.  He is tolerating therapy like a trooper.  He will not go back for a check up for several weeks.  Bagel sends love and kisses to all.
