Millie is ready to be adopted, and is looking for her special forever home....she will have some special needs.  But that just makes her all the more special

Millie had her surgery at the end of January and seemed to be doing really well. Between 2 and 3 months posted surgery she seemed to be a little quieter than usual and also lethargic. At 3 months we had her bile acids retested and they came back slightly higher than they had been before her surgery. We have no idea why, but put her back on the L/D and started her on Sam-e and Milk Thistle. Dr Tobias asked that we have her retested again at 6 months post surgery and if it hasn’t come down to bring her back to UT for further testing. I took Millie back to my vet on Monday and had her bile acids done.
Millie’s bile acids came back high and I will be taking her back to UT on July 9th for another scintigraphy.

If you can make a donation to help cover the cost of her Scintigraphy, it will help us be able to continue helping adorable little dogs like Millie who would otherwise die.   Thanks
